Musical Dry Deck Fountain in the Central Square of Uman – A Dance of Water, Light, and Music

In 2019, DION ART created another landmark attraction in Uman – a musical dry deck fountain, which has become the center of urban life and a vivid symbol of modern public space. This fountain not only enhances the city’s main square but also invites residents and visitors to become part of a magical water performance, seamlessly blending art, technology, and nature.

Water Dynamics and Light Show

The fountain features 50 foamy water jets that rise up to 2 meters, forming a harmonious, dancing composition. Each jet is controlled by a programmable system synchronized with musical accompaniment. The water streams create various patterns, shifting and pulsating in time with melodies, filling the space with movement and energy.

50 underwater RGB lights provide vivid and dynamic illumination, turning the fountain into a mesmerizing spectacle in the evening hours. With color transitions and intensity variations, the fountain adapts to different musical scenarios, producing unique water-light compositions.

Engineering Innovations and Energy Efficiency

The fountain is equipped with a state-of-the-art control system, ensuring seamless synchronization of water, light, and music. The pump system is housed in a dedicated technical room, guaranteeing reliable and long-lasting performance.

To operate, the fountain utilizes 116 cubic meters of circulating water, filtered through an advanced purification system. Cutting-edge technologies optimize energy consumption, delivering a spectacular visual effect with a minimal power requirement of 26 kW.
