A Symbol of Love, Light, and Water in the Heart of Kyiv

In 2024, DION ART completed one of the most significant projects in Kyiv — the “Renaissance” musical fountain in the M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden. This fountain is not just a water installation; it is a new symbol of the capital, merging art, technology, and the philosophy of harmony between humans and nature.

The renovation of the fountain and the surrounding plaza, as well as sponsorship of its construction, was initiated by Angelina Usanova — a talented singer and Miss Ukraine Universe 2023. Thanks to her vision and support, the fountain has become a unique architectural and artistic masterpiece, filling the space with beauty and meaning.

Concept and Artistic Vision

The “Renaissance” Fountain represents a journey to the source of life and love. At the center of the composition is a bronze sculpture of a couple in love, standing within a giant blooming lotus. This scene symbolizes the birth of something new, pure, and bright, where water, love, and nature unite.

The lotus is an ancient symbol of spiritual growth, rebirth, and harmony, while the couple represents the eternal energy of love that fills the world with meaning and beauty.

The Dynamic Dance of Water and Light – Art in Motion

With a diameter of 17.4 meters, the fountain is a breathtaking water performance, where each jet has its own rhythm and voice.

• Jets Double AC nozzles open like flower buds, creating the illusion of a blossoming water garden.

• 26 Smooth Bore RG mono-jet nozzles with high-speed valves generate a flowing water wave, emphasizing the rhythm of life and continuous motion.

• In the evening, the fountain comes alive with music in 8 languages, and its lighting, designed in the colors of the 7 chakras, fills the space with energy, light, and harmony.

The fountain presents two completely different experiences during the day and night. By day, it enchants visitors with its elegant sculpture and gentle sound of flowing water. By night, it transforms into a mesmerizing spectacle, where water and light take center stage.

Cutting-Edge Technologies – A Fusion of Art and Innovation

The “Renaissance” Fountain represents engineering excellence and technological advancement.

• Equipped with next-generation Jets Double AC nozzles, creating a unique water choreography.

• The latest control software by Syncronorm (Germany) orchestrates the fountain’s light and music, transforming it into a living stream of energy and art.

• An advanced filtration and water purification system makes the fountain an environmentally sustainable water feature.

Unique Leaf-Shaped Benches – Extending the Art Beyond Water

A special emphasis in this project was placed on the area surrounding the fountain. Along its perimeter, DION ART designed and installed exclusive benches, making this installation truly one of a kind. These stainless steel benches, shaped like giant leaves, create the impression of a natural oasis in the heart of the city. More than just decorative elements, they provide a space for relaxation, contemplation, and a deeper connection with nature.
