Dry deck Fountain Fountain in Kurenevsky Park

In 2019, DION ART completed a unique dry deck fountain in Kurenevsky Park in Kyiv, seamlessly blending art, technology, and nature. This interactive fountain, with a diameter of 7 meters, has become a striking landmark, drawing visitors in with its dynamic interplay of water and light.

Concept and Features

The fountain has become a true focal point of the park. At its center, three granite spheres of varying diameters (1000 mm, 750 mm, and 250 mm) enhance the composition, creating a harmonious balance. The water jets continuously change in height and rhythm, forming a mesmerizing spectacle.

As night falls, the fountain transforms with underwater RGB lighting, casting a spectrum of vibrant colors over the water, creating a magical light display. Eight water jets rise up to 2.5 meters, forming an elegant water composition that captivates onlookers.

The fountain features a modern water recirculation system and is powered by pumps housed in a technical facility. The total water volume in the system is 16 m³, with a power consumption of 6 kW.

Atmosphere and Impact

This fountain is more than just an urban enhancement—it has become a vital part of the park’s social space, where residents and visitors can enjoy its beauty and dynamism. During the day, it refreshes and cools the surroundings, while at night, it transforms the area into a scenic retreat, illuminated by soft lighting and the soothing sounds of water.
