Harmony of Water and Reflections
In 2017, DION ART completed the “Metal Spheres” fountain project for the Shchaslyvyi residential complex in Kyiv. This artistic water feature became a harmonious addition to the modern architecture, bringing dynamism and elegance to the space.
The 6-meter diameter fountain consists of five stainless steel spheres of different sizes (2 m, 1.3 m, 1 m, and two spheres of 0.7 m). Water smoothly flows through each sphere, cascading down its surface into the fountain basin, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light reflections and a soothing water sound.
In the evening, the fountain transforms into a stunning light installation, enhanced by 12 underwater RGB lights. The light, reflecting off the mirror-polished spheres, produces captivating visual effects, filling the space with the magic of water and illumination.
The fountain’s engineering system includes pumps located in a technical room, ensuring a stable water circulation. The total water volume in the system is 12 m³, with a total power consumption of 6 kW.
The “Metal Spheres” fountain is not just an element of urban landscaping but a true public art installation, seamlessly blending aesthetics, technology, and nature into a contemporary water feature.
