Light-Dynamic Dry Deck Fountain in Manganiariy Square, Mykolaiv

In 2020, DION ART completed one of the most spectacular fountain projects in the southern region of Ukraine – a light-dynamic dry deck fountain in Manganiariy Square.

This fountain has become a true symbol of Mykolaiv, reflecting its modernity, beauty, and energy. The grand opening took place on September 12, 2020, during the City Day celebrations, offering residents and visitors an unforgettable water and light show.

Concept and Design

The fountain was envisioned as the heart of urban life, a place where water, light, and music merge into a harmonious dance.

• 15 x 15 meters – a large-scale composition where water transforms into a living piece of art
• 63 water jets create a dynamic choreography, changing height and direction in sync with the music
• 140 underwater RGB lights provide vivid lighting effects, smooth color transitions, and a mesmerizing ambiance in the evening
• A variety of nozzles, including Foam Jet, Lance Jet, and Spray Ring, allow for diverse water patterns, creating effects like foam curtains and cascading streams
• Maximum jet height – 3 meters, giving the water show an impressive scale and expressiveness

Technology and Innovation

The fountain is equipped with advanced control and automation systems, ensuring perfect synchronization of music, light, and water.

• High-powered pumps are installed in a technical facility, ensuring the system’s reliable operation
• The fountain operates on a closed water recirculation system, minimizing consumption and maintaining environmental sustainability
• The total water volume is 100 m³, enhancing the depth and grandeur of the fountain’s compositions

Atmosphere and Impact on the City

Since its opening, the fountain has become a favorite gathering spot for both residents and tourists.
